RE: Vigo Twp Touch A Truck 2023

To whom it may concern,

Its that time again, we are ramping up for our Touch A Truck. Last year was a huge success, and we are hoping it grows even larger this year.

Last year Morgantown Volunteer Fire Department’s large animal rescue apparatus won the trophy for Farthest Driven Apparatus. The trophy was donated by Owen County Bank, Bicknell Branch. It will be interesting to see if another department can take it this year.

We are also going to start a Patch Board so please bring one of your patches to add to the board. These patches will remain on the board to show a history of the departments that have taken part in the Touch A Truck.

This year it will be on Saturday May 20^th gates will be opening to the public at 9am and we will probably start to close up around 2pm. This year we will be serving lunch only and it will be free will donation. And again, it will be at the Knox County Fair Grounds at Bicknell Indiana.

We are putting this event on as a public awareness, positive youth impact, and fire prevention. We are sending invitations to all emergency services.

Vender booth rentals are $30.00 for the day. All vender fees will be going directly to the fairgrounds.

There is no fee for emergency agencies/organizations.

If you are unable to obtain a booth and would still like some advertisement from this event, we will have a message board set up to list all donors. You can make a monetary donation or you can donate door prizes.
