About The Event

A FREE class for police, fire and EMS leaders, chaplains, honor guards and all who would have a role in an agency’s response to a line-of-duty death (LODD).

ULTIMATE HONOR will help agencies prepare for what we all hope will never happen — but we know the reality that it can happen anywhere at anytime.

Our goal is to help ensure those who give their lives in the line-of-duty are honored in the absolute best manner possible — in other words, with ultimate honor for ultimate sacrifice.

But achieving a level of ultimate honor is not easy — which is why it is so important that we examine these topics — and it is about a lot more than ceremonial funeral honors. In fact, some of the most important pieces are those very few people see…

Ultimate honor means respectful and honorable treatment of a fallen hero as well as his family and all who grieve. It is something that starts at the time of a tragedy and never ends.

‘A hero’s sacrifice is forever, so is that of his family.’

ULTIMATE HONOR is a full-day (8-hour) examination of considerations and challenges of rendering ultimate honor — including important decisions leaders should make before tragedy strikes. It also includes discussion of a specialized approach to LODD different from the current norm.

The most common response from those who attend is: “You made me think about things I have never even dreamed of before. There is a lot more to consider and plan for than I ever realized!”
