Fire Fighter Challenges

Show off your skills and your proficiency as we bring back the once-famous water events/competitive firefighter sports!

  • Waterball - The intent of the Waterball Competition is to provide team participants with the opportunity to practice using nozzles and hose lines in order to increase their fire fighting proficiency and to show off their skills and abilities to handle a nozzle and hose.
  • Hose Replacement - The hose replacement competition is a timed event. Teams must use three 50-foot lengths of hose and a nozzle (all provided by the games committee) and make connection to a water source. Once the water is turned on, they must shoot a stream at a target about 100 feet away. Once the target has been hit, your team must shut down the hydrant, take a fourth section of hose and replace a section of hose, reestablish a water source and hit the target for the second time.

Scenario-Based EMS Competition/Challenges

This is sure to be an exciting and exhilarating test of your EMS knowledge, skill and determination
