Life Saving Award Nomination

This award will be presented to any person nominated, who by direct personal involvement, saves the life of a fellow human being, whose performance was conducted with prompt and alert action which specifically results in the successful saving of a human life. The actions taken may include the use of basic, technical or mechanical equipment in the successful life-saving effort.

In order to be nominated for the IVFA Life Saving Medal the nominee must be a member in good standing with the IVFA and exhibit the actions above.

The Life Saving Certificate is reserved for citizens and other non-members of the IVFA who have exhibited the actions above and have been nominated for this award.

A nomination form must be filled out and returned to the Executive Committee for review and selection. Nominations will be reviewed every quarter or on an emergency basis if necessary. The Executive Committee decisions are final once decision is made. Once decided the nominator will be notified and process for presentation will be set-up.
