Duties of the Bylaw & SOG Committee
The Bylaw committee receives proposals from both the Bylaw Committee and Districts when submitted.
They are checked for proper form, correctness, and Bylaw number, then presented to the directors during a quarterly meeting for discussion.
They are then sent out to each district meeting for discussion and to be voted on by each district. Once this has been done the district chair will be ask to vote at the next scheduled quarterly meeting as to how his district has ask him to vote.
Then the Bylaw change is either defeated or passed. If the Bylaw passes, it will be sent to the Central Office to be placed in the bylaws and copies will be distributed to the district chairmen and officers.
