Indiana's fire and emergency medical services (EMS) departments are engaged and responding to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) emergencies. This service could have a significant negative impact on your budgets. A couple of other items we want you to be aware of are with the latest Presidential declaration there is COVID-19 cost recovery for fire and EMS departments as well under the CARES Act.  Your department may be entitled to some fianacial assistants in the form of grants or loans that may not have to paid back. Both may be worth checking into. Tracking your cost and expenses will be a key to assistance. You will need to to track your cost to be able to recover them.
