I hope you all have had a great summer spending time with your families, friends, and loved ones. I know it has been a very busy one for me. I have enjoyed seeing you all in my travels and look forward to the next time.

With another successful convention behind us I would like to say thank you to District 10 and the 2017 convention committee for all of their hard work, especially to our newest member! I would also like to congratulate all of this year's award winners and the new IVFA and IVFAA officers and thank them again for their dedication and service to our Association and the fire service!

Last, but certainly not least, I would like to say thank you to all of the membership for your continued support and confidence as I look forward to serving another term as President of our great Association.
